Amanda has worked with my 13 year old gelding off and on for several years. Her calm training style brings out the best in him. I don't think there is anything she can't get him to do. Amanda is always challenging him through games to keep him interested and not bored with arena works.
I am in my 60's and have ridden bridleless and bareback. Something I never dreamed I would be able to do. Amanda challenges me to push my limits but is always kind and patient with this older student.
She is a blessing to my horse and me. We will continue to have Amanda training and teaching us for years to come.

Amanda has been training my daughter since she was three and was one of the only trainers that would take such a young student and I'm so thankful she has. Amanda is a talented horse trainer whose talents include teaching various age students. I am 60+ years old and have been with Amanda since July 2019. Her lessons are challenging, move me out of my comfort zone yet are very doable. She has an imagination that keeps the lessons fun while addressing the task at hand. My horse, "Chico" loves her too! As she works with him, I can easily see him trying to do whatever she asks. I am so pleased with Amanda's heart for people and animals that she is now working with my 6 year old granddaughter. ....and I would not entrust her horse experience with just anyone. Amanda is the ONLY trainer that I trust with my horses!!! Amanda works with each horse as an individual, unique animal that learns in their own way. Amanda has always realized what works for one horse does not always work for another. She has a way of "thinking outside the box". She now is working with one of my horses that has "unique" challenges. I am amazed at how she understands what will work for this horse and what would make his problem worse. Every horse she works with KNOWS she cares for THEM and they pick up on her gentle, confident spirit!!! You cannot fool an animal. They KNOW how you feel about them! JoJo and I are fairly new students of Amanda and we are happily working hard. She accommodates her lessons and goals for this older student but patiently expects performance and accomplishments. She adds variety to keep the lessons interesting, offers praise when deserved ( student and horse)and has the ability to make this fun.
